Nibco 1" CPVC Male Iron Pipe Adapter, beige in color, is used to adapt to metal threaded fittings in cold water applications only where hot or changing temperature water is likely. It is recommended to use 53000 Series Transition Union with this adapter. It is corrosion resistant and underground rated. It has a maximum working pressure of 400 psi and a maximum working temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It is solvent cemented and has a 5-year warranty.
