Description

The SharkBite 1/2" Straight Stop is for controlling water flow to household plumbing fixtures. Made of chrome-plated brass, this lead-free stop valve features an oval handle for easy operation. It is compatible with TV# 608933 Cinch Clamps and requires the Cinch Tool TV# 608743 or copper crimp rings for secure connections to cross-link polyethylene PEX tubing. After crimping, each fitting can be tested to withstand over 100 PSI. This stop valve meets various industry standards, including NSF 14 & 61 for use in potable water systems, CSA B137.5 standards, and NSF CL-R certification for use in hot water systems. It also complies with AB1953 California and VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions.

  • The wetted surface of this product contacted by consumable water contains less than 1/4 of 1 percent, 0.25%, of lead by weight.
